Key Finding
Zebrafish enteritis samples showed increased neutrophils and macrophages together with upregulated il8 and il10 cytokines and the mpeg1 and mpx cell markers. The cell-suspension approach therefore captured cellular and molecular inflammatory changes in intestinal mucosa.
Countstar Connection
Cell-count and viability assessment in cell suspensions was performed with Countstar (model not specified) during sample-quality assessment.
