Key Finding
The findings show that CHIA was significantly upregulated in thyroid cancer tissues relative to paired thyroid cancer adjacent tissues. After correlation analysis, the authors found that upregulated CHIA expression correlated with the tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) stage of patients with thyroid cancer.
Countstar Connection
Researchers assessed cell numbers in the study's cell samples using a Countstar instrument during growth assessment for the cancer-model experiments.
