A marine fish cell line was exposed to 20-nanometer polystyrene nanoplastics and then followed through recovery. Although some cellular measures improved after exposure ended, persistent nuclear stress remained, indicating that apparent recovery may not fully resolve subcellular injury from chronic nanoplastic exposure.
Countstar Connection
The Countstar Mira BF automated cell analyzer counted cells after resuspension, allowing cultures to be normalized to the target density before exposure and recovery experiments.
