The researchers established an ELISpot-based approach for measuring PCV2-specific memory B-cell responses after vaccination. By comparing cellular recall responses with conventional immunogenicity and challenge outcomes, the study supports memory B cells as a useful complementary indicator for evaluating porcine circovirus type 2 vaccine performance.
