An SP1-specific inhibitor, plicamycin, effectively suppresses CRPC growth in vivo. The study reveal the existence of SCLPC in admixed PCa pathology, which may mediate tumor relapse, and establish SP1 and translation elongation as actionable therapeutic targets for CRPC.
