Key Finding
Untreated EGFR-positive, MET-amplified lung cancer was associated with substantially shorter progression-free survival than EGFR-positive disease without MET amplification. First-line tyrosine kinase inhibitor monotherapy performed poorly, while dual-targeted therapy showed anticancer activity in the lung cancer organoid drug-testing assay.
Countstar Connection
Researchers assessed cell numbers in the study's cell samples using Countstar (model not specified) within the 3D-culture workflow for the cancer-model experiments.
