Transcriptome sequencing (RNA-Seq) analysis revealed that treatment of P. nicotianae with DDA ed in significant downregulation of antioxidant activity and energy metabolism, including antioxidant enzymes and ATP generation, and upregulation of membrane-destabilizing activity, such as phospholipid synthesis and degradation.
